The resistance against water makes care by washing out with water and soap possible. This reliably removes all residues of sweat. Use of solubilizers and disinfectants is not required.

After longer wearing, substances which have entered the surface can be removed by boiling. This also makes the prosthesis sterile again. External contaminations can be washed off easily and will not enter the material as in the case of PVC gloves.
